Can you believe this is the last week of 2010!?

I cant.

Seriously people, there is no way it's already 2011!  I remember going to a neighbors party for the big Y2K like it was yesterday!  I guess time flies when you're growing up.  One thing that we can always count on, no matter what year it is...celebrity gossip.  And that's where I come in, as usual.  So here's what has been happenin' around Hollywood for the past 13 days (since I last blogged):

• Reese Witherspoon is engaged to beau Jim Toth
• LeAnn Rimes is officially engaged to Eddie Cibrian...and already shooting down pregnancy rumors
• Liam's just as attractive older brother, Chris Hemsworth, is off the market.  He married Spanish actress Elsa Pataky
• Natalie Portman is engaged to Black Swan choreographer Benjamin Millipied...and pregnant!  Busy, busy.
• Hugh Hefner is engaged to Playmate Crystal Harris
• After a rough year, including a miscarriage, Lily Allen is engaged to Sam Cooper
• Elton John and husband David Furnish welcomed a baby boy on Christmas day via surrogate
• Teen Mom (my favorite guilty pleasure) star Amber Portwood was jailed after being charged with three felonies, including two counts of domestic battery and one count of neglect of a dependent
• Alanis Morissette and husband welcomed a baby boy, Ever Imre Morissette-Treadway, on Christmas.  That same day Dierks Bentley and his wife welcomed a baby girl, Jordan Catherine Bentley.
• New couple alert: newly single (well, not anymore) Rachel Weisz and Daniel Craig
• Ginnifer Goodwin is engaged to boyfriend Joey Kern
• Landon Donovan was not so lucky in love, filing for divorce with wife of four years, Rules of Engagement star Bianca Kajlich
• Shania Twain is engaged to Frederic Thiebaud
• One of my favorite Friends, David Schwimmer, is expecting a baby with his wife, Zoe Buckman
• Ali Larter gave birth on December 20 to a son, Theodore Hayes
• Bret Michaels is finally engaged to girlfriend of 16 years, Kristi Gibson
• Vince Vaughn's wife, Kyla Weber, had a baby girl, Locklyn Kyla Vaughn, on December 18
• Tony Romo is engaged to Chace Crawford's sister and former beauty queen, Candice Crawford
• Zac Hanson's wife had their baby, a girl named Junia Rosa Ruth, on December 15.  Yep.  Baby Hanson had a baby.  Weird.

Welp, I warned you.  9 engagements in 13 days.  And 6 babies.  What can I say, everything is bigger and better around the holidays!

Congratulations to all the betrothed couples and new mommy and daddies!  Maybe we'll do a "whose engagement ring makes me want to faint more" contest soon.  There's some really great bling floatin' around these days!

BIG NEWS PEOPLE.

Hey TPAMPers!  Did I get your attention with that really obnoxiously dramatic title!?

Good.

That was the goal.

To be honest, I have absolutely no idea why I haven't blogged in weeks.  Am I still checking People.com and Eonline.com as soon as I wake up?  Yes.  Am I still the first to break celeb news to my friends?  Yep.  So I have no idea what the dealio with me is.  Perhaps it was school.  Sometimes they make you write these annoying things called papers and it just kind of takes all the fun out of writing.  But I'm back!!  Oh and do I have news for y'all...like always.

First and most importantly, my husband is back on the market.

I've been waiting a solid 4 years for this moment.  And while I'm sad that another young Hollywood couple called it quits, I'm not going to lie, I'm ecstatic.

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens are no more.

Zac, feel free to give me a ring...diamond or on the telephone.

Now if I wrote a paragraph about all the big news that has happened in the past few weeks, this post would be as long as those nasty 10 page papers professors love to assign.  So here we go, fast news!

• Grammy Nominations: Our leaders are Eminem (10), Bruno Mars (7), Lady Gaga (6), and Lady Antebellum (6).  Tune into CBS on February 13 for the winners!  Or just check out TPAMP!
• Reese Witherspoon got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.  I'm always surprised when a huge star is just getting a star, seems like she would have already had one!
• Fergie's hubby Josh Duhamel infamously got kicked off an airplane for texting after the fun little "Please turn off all unapproved electronics at this time" announcement.  Don't worry, he apologized.
• Prince Charles and Kate Middleton released their freakishly adorable engagement pictures.  If you need to see it it's been my Facebook profile picture for about a week now.  What!?  Sometimes I like to pretend I'm Kate.
• Elizabeth Edwards died after her six-year battle with breast cancer.
• In case you blinked, Kim Kardashian and Gabriel Aubry split up.  But never fear, she's back to athletes.  She's now with basketballer Kris Humphries.
• Katy Perry is officially changing her name to Katy Brand, which is great right!?  Right...?
• In case you have been living under a rock, Disney princess Miley Cyrus inadvertently relinquished her throne by posting a video of her taking a bong hit with her friends.  No, no, don't worry, it was just Salvia.
• Sexiest Couple Alive Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson are separated.  I knew that was too much goodness in one couple.
• Big wedding weekend last weekend with the much anticipated wedding of Nicole Richie and Joel Madden along with Yankee star Nick Swisher and Joanna Garcia.
• Mariah Carey is not only expecting but she's apparently having twins!  Whoa.  Game changer.

I feel so much better!  Home for Christmas break for a couple weeks so posts will be much more frequent.  I promise some pictures of real Minnesota snow from my visit to my sister's house for all you sunny LA Christmas'ers :)

Baby Joy!

I've got the fever.

Nooo, not Bieber fever.  Good old fashioned baby fever.

Seeing as a) I don't even have a boyfriend and b) I'm 19 and so not ready, it's a really good thing I'm going to get my fix with my new little niece or nephew (ETA May 10)!!  So excited for my sister and her hubby :)

I'm also thankful for celebrities, so here's what's happening with them!

1. Lindsay Lohan, if she wasn't already hating life, lost her leading role in the porn biopic she was filming.  Personally, that seems like a positive thing to me...

2. Kat Von D's house burnt down with her cat inside.  (If you saw what the cat looked like you might burn it down too...sorry, but seriously.)

3. Miley Cyrus turned 18.  Yeah, I thought she was 14 too.

4. Jennifer Jason Leigh filed for divorce from her husband of 5 years.  Kind of upset with myself that I had to look up who she was...and the fact that I still don't really know why she's a celebrity.

5. Emmy Rossum and Adam Duritz split up.  I was confused by this relationship in the first place.

6. Prince William and Kate picked a wedding date...April 29!  Countdown clock officially set.

7. John Travolta and wife Kelly Preston welcomed baby Benjamin

And to be truthful, that's it!  Pretty slow week so far in the entertainment industry.  Everyones too busy working off Thanksgiving dinner to do anything interesting!  I'll keep you TPAMPers updated if the weekend turns up any more news.

I'm in the midst of watching the AMA's (like I promised) and I couldn't help put blog about a particular person that stood out to me.  As I was looking through red carpet pictures yesterday she stood out to me but to be honest I had no idea who she was!  And then I was really embarrassed because I'm supposed to know my celebs!  So anyways, I was just wondering if anyone else noticed Stana Katic!?

She's known for her role on ABC's Castle but she looks totally different!  The girl cleans up goooood!

Her look was actually one of my favorites of the night!

When I was in high school, I overheard this guy say, "The AMA's are like a girl's Superbowl".

I happen to completely agree.

Not only are the American Music Awards filled with performances from all the best musicians but the red carpet is just busting with fashion.

Now I haven't watched the show yet (I go home for Thanksgiving tomorrow...where it is DVR'd...no commercials > tiny dorm room TV screen with commercials) but the winners, of course, have already been posted.  Lucky for you trusty TPAMP followers, you will not only be filled it on who won what, but you also get to hear how I feel about it!  So great, right?!

Umm yeah, I don't know if you caught that but Justin Bieber won four AMAs.  FOUR!  I'm sorry if I offend any Beliebers right now but I mean, come on!  Top Pop/Rock Male Artist and Album of the Year!?  ARTIST OF THE YEAR!?  Something is happening in this world and it ain't good.  I'd like to issue a public apology to all the artists in the entire music industry.

On a more positive thought, the Country genre got it exactly right.  Like always.  So happy my girls won and Brad Paisley is finally having a great awards season.

Fashion wise:

Taylor Swift...halle-freaking-leuia!  She looked so great and her hair was straight and she had bangs and she wore a cute sparkly dress!  Whew!  So glad she decided to change it up a little bit.  She looked like an old-fashioned Barbie a little bit!  Loved.  It.

Miley Cyrus...gotta hand it to Miley, the girl knows how to dress up (or has a great stylist).  Love what she did with her simple hair, not too long and extension-y (you know what I mean.)

Rihanna has hair again people!  Not super crazy about her dress however.  And the fact that her hair was the same color.

Katy Perry is so stinking cute.  I might be the first person to say that but really I just think she's gorgeous!  And she looked so newlywed-glowy which definitely didn't hurt.  

Don't even get me started on Ke$ha.

I didn't even recognize Julianne Hough!  Hate to say it but I think Seacrest is aging her a little...not that she wasn't still drop-dead gorgeous.
