Weekend Wrap Up!

Well, it's a rainy LA day ... is snow too much to hope for at this point!?

I mean really Santa, it would be a really awesome pre-Thanksgiving present!

Anywho.

I don't know about you, but this week was pretty fun for me personally. I helped out a PR company at the Volkswagen EOS Launch Party in Santa Monica; really got my blood pumpin' for a future career in the field (wink*wink). And tonight I'm headed to the CNN Heroes 2010 Awards Show! Should be a fun/inspiring evening with lots of celeb sightings, stay tuned for that!

For those of you who could care less about what I did this week, here's what happened with your favorite celeb friends:

1. Former Bachelorette Jen Schefft gave birth to a little girl, Mae Elizabeth Watermann, on Saturday, November 13.

2. Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt renewed their wedding vows...excuse me, I need to go vomit. (Whoa, sorry for that bluntness!)

3. Britney Spears' parents are supposedly reconciling after being divorced for 8 years. Guess that gives us some hope for a Brit/KFed reunion!? Let's hope not.

4. Possibly the saddest news of the week, Eva Longoria has filed for divorce from husband of three years, Tony Parker. And by the way, I don't care if it was just {hundreds of} texts, I'd be pissed too.

5. Pink admitted to Ellen that she is pregnant with her first baby. Guess that picture of her at the beach with a baby bump turned out to be true. Was kind of wishing that a celeb just had a normal girl pooch to make us all feel better.

6. Of course, Prince William and Kate Middleton are engaged. Will, if you're reading this, I'd like to say that I approve. She's got great style.

7. People's Sexiest Man Alive 2010 is...Ryan Reynolds! Totally approve. Like more than I approve of Kate Middleton. Scarlett is a lucky woman!

8. Chris Daughtry added two more to his family with the birth of twins, Noah James and Adalynn Rose. Love those names!

9. Chad Ochocinco and Evelyn Lozada are engaged. Well they haven't officially announced it yet but I think this twitpic of her 10 carat ring kind of speaks for itself...

10. And finally (and when I say finally, I mean finallyyyyyy) Rachel Zoe officially confirmed her pregnancy. Rachel. We knew.

That's the big 10 for this week! Lot's of good stuff!

ROYAL WEDDING!!

Prince William and Kate Middleton are engaged!

Only few people in my life know about my obsession with weddings and this is like the cream of the crop. I cannot wait to see every little detail of this wedding. First of all, even the fact that I am alive during the time of a royal wedding I am thrilled about! Wedding, wedding, wedding!

Yay.

It is expected to take place sometime in late spring or early summer 2011. New countdown clock on my computer? I think yes.

P.S. He proposed with Princess Diana's engagement ring...*swoon*

Coincidence!?

Remember the other day when I was basically crying because Nick Lachey was engaged to Vanessa Minnillo!?

This news isn't helping my heartbreak.

Jessica Simpson announced her engagement to NFLer Eric Johnson today.

This is making my hopes and dreams of a reconciliation of the real Lachey's smaller and smaller. Congrats Jess and Nick, even though I wish Wedding #2 would be to each other.

Accepted.

Well. Here we are again. It's Saturday and once again I've missed a Friday Wrap Up. I've officially accepted the fact that I'm a horrible promise keeper. Just on blogging, if we were friends I would totally keep all my promises, ask my friends.

But I'm sure you'll be glad to hear that I've found a solution.

I'm not going to limit myself to Friday anymore. It will now be considered the Weekend Wrap Up. If it happens on a Friday that still counts because we all know that Friday is considered part of the weekend, yeah? Problem solved.

I feel so free.

Ok, so for the first official Weekend Wrap Up...

1. Ne-Yo is a baby daddy! The baby's name is Madilyn Grace Smith and now I'm really intrigued to know that Ne-Yo's last name is Smith.

2. Remember last week when the whole LeAnn Rimes engagement debacle went down? Well this week it's her ex-husbands turn. He beat her to it. I think. Anyways, Dean Sheremet is engaged.

3. Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen are dating again. The world is right again.

4. Dakota Fanning won Homecoming Queen at her high school. Well, duh. Did they even vote on that or just give it to her?

5. Vera Farmiga welcomed a new baby girl. The name is still Up in the Air...(I crack myself up)

6. There is a large possibility that Pink is preggers and Jillian Barberie Reynolds spilled the news via Twitter. Worst friend award?

7. Beauty queen, married to a hot quarterback, and now all cute and pregnant. Anybody else semi-hate Carrie Prejean?!

8. The best event of the year, the CMA's, was this past Wednesday. Miranda Lambert and her hubby-to-be Blake Shelton were the big winners of the night (can you imagine their children...) and Brad Paisley finally won Entertainer of the Year!

9. Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal might actually be a real couple. Really didn't see that coming.

10. Harry Potter mania officially started this week with the London premiere of the seventh movie. Watch out for muggles thinking they're capable of playing Quidditch...especially on college campuses (No seriously.)

Friday Wrapup on Saturday Morning!

Hello from Minnesota!

Yes, it's a little different than LA, but never fear! They still have internet and I still have the ability to bring you this week's Top 10.

1. Possibly the biggest news this week...eh, that's debatable actually...is Demi Lovato entering treatment midst tour with the JoBros. In this case, I can't help but wish the media didn't have to uncover every little detail and just let Demi get better!

2. Rocker Slash called off his divorce with his wife of 9 years. Feels like a relief after all this bad divorce news lately! Courteney Cox and David Arquette should get lunch with them.

3. Lily Allen announced her miscarriage (second one publicly) and I can't even imagine what she's going through :(

4. Kim Kardashian announced her entrance into the music business. It might just be me but I think one Bootylicious Beyonce is all the industry can handle.

5. Surf legend Andy Irons died. He was suffering from dengue fever and methadone was found is his hotel room. The autopsy could take 60-90 days.

6. Bachelorette contestant Julien Hug was found dead in the Southern California desert. It was concluded that he committed suicide.

7. Vanessa Minnillo and Nick Lachey are engaged and Jessica Simpson is hyperventilating. So am I.

8. Controversial couple LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian are engaged! Wait, no they aren't. Wait, yes the are! Wait, no. Let's be honest, no one really knows. We'll wait to see which magazine they have decided to cash in on to announce it.

9. Lil Wayne was released from jail after almost 8 months (1-year conviction). I can't even think of anything witty to say to this because I'm in shock that they kept him longer that 2 days!

10. Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth split up...again! Woohoo!! Hopefully this time it's for good...and he stays in LA.

Yes, they've been together for four years so I guess you could say it was coming. But honestly, I was beginning to wonder if Jess Simpson turned Nick into a little bit of a commitment-phobe! My apologies Nick. Here's to wedding #2! Just try to top that tear-worthy face we all saw on Newlyweds as you saw Jess walking down the aisle...

Congrats Nick and Vanessa!

Call me Jess if you want to drown your sorrows in Ben & Jerry's...I'm always down.

2 Weeks in One Post

You know how they say one year equals seven years for dogs? Well, with the rate of news happening in Hollywood, I'm pretty sure a year equals like at least fifteen celeb years!

Did that make sense to anyone? Was that even funny?

Anyways. I'm going to try and catch everyone up with the major events that have happened in LA-LA land over the past two weeks. Bear with me, this might be a long post but just think of how smart you will be after you finish it!

Former Bachelor Andrew Firestone and his wife are expecting their second child.

Lance Armstrong welcomed his fifth child. Is it bad that I can't even remember who it's with. I'm sure it's not his wife who stayed with him through his cancer or Sheryl Crow...

Celine Dion gave birth to twin boys! That will make their dad 86 when they turn 18.

Willow Smith, daughter of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, released her first single entitled "Whip My Hair" at age 9! If you want a song to get stuck in your head for the rest of eternity, listen to it. Then whip it, whip it good.

Katy Perry and Russell Brand tied the knot in India on October 23. I'm really interested to see what their kids turn out like.

Maria Sharapova is engaged to Laker's star Sasha Vujacic. Again, interesting children possibilities...

Toni Collette is expecting her second child. Let's hope this baby doesn't have the multiple personality problem like her TV character on United States of Tara!

Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal had lunch together in NYC and the world has already begun planning their wedding.

Shia LeBeouf and Carey Mulligan transformed their relationship into a friendship (heehee). If you didn't get that pun it meant that they broke up.

Billy Ray Cyrus has an achy breaky heart after filing for divorce with his wife Tish of 17 years.

In other sad break up news, Blake Lively and Penn Badgley called it quits. Although that does mean my girl crush is back on the market...

Taylor Swift released her third album Speak Now to which every girl in the world now owns.

This one I bet you didn't know. Mariah Carey is pregnant! For real this time though.

Jessica Capshaw welcomed her second baby (which explains her new story line on Grey's...)

Ian Ziering and his wife are joining the Hollywood baby boom!

Lily Allen announced, for the second time, she has miscarried. I'm not joking when I say I almost started crying when I read this.

And finally....

Demi Levato announced that she was taking time off from touring with the Jonas Brothers to check into a treatment facility. It is speculated that it is for eating disorder and cutting problems. This really makes me so sad but I'm glad to hear that she is getting help!
